Über die Regionalstraße R418 ist Kilkea an die Stadt <a href="Athy" title="Athy">Athy</a> im Nordwesten und die Kleinstadt <a href="Castledermot" title="Castledermot">Castledermot</a> im Südosten angebunden<sup id="cite_ref-2" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-2"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>2<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>.
